These are too cute for words, and sure to inspire you and your child. Pages include bears reading books, an elephant, little ducklings, dragons (I am not wild about this sort of thing, but these are very tame, friendly looking dragons, and we may actually use these for creative writing during our Middle Ages study.), undersea creatures, frog (very cute - frog on lily pad with a crown in the top corner of the page!) bees and beehive, spiders, squirrel, caterpillar and butterfly, bear eating bread, monkey, jungle animals, zebra, giraffe, dinosaurs, crocodiles (This is great! The border is a life cycle scene showing eggs, hatchlings, young adults, and a mature crocodile.), beavers, bunny and carrots, puppy, bugs, penguin, peacock, snake, mice (Another really neat one! The top of the page is above ground, and the rest of the border shoes the underground tunnels of the mice.), hippos, coyote, tropical fish, sheep, "cute" alligators in clothing, and pigs.
(NOTE: There is also a very unfortunate page of a scary-looking monster. I cannot imagine why the editors included it. We pitched ours.) Elementary grades.
