I have to admit, I was somewhat less than inspired by the thought of a coloring book about landforms, but I was thrilled once I finally took the time to review this book. This fully reproducible coloring book has coloring pictures and informative captions about all sorts of key landforms - canyons, deltas, islands, prairies, volcanos, glaciers, and more. There are also pages for specific landforms like the Grand Canyon, Niagra Falls, Chimney rock, etc. Geological events like the movement of the earth's crust, fires, wind erosion, land slides, and so forth are also covered.
Simply coloring and reading this book will give any child a great overview of this topic. You could make a neat notebook using the coloring pages along with photos printed from the internet. You could pick and choose pictures to go along with your geography lessons, or pull them out and use them as they pertain to different current events. You could even copy them at a small size to make a matching game or flashcards!
