With our Ancient Greece and Rome Discovery Kit, your child will:

Paint a beautiful fresco: Your child will design and paint a brilliantly colored fresco like those found on the island of Crete.

Make a relief: In this multi-part project, your child will learn about both Greek theater masks and the art of reliefs, then he will sculpt, cast, and paint a relief of an authentic Greek mask.

Paint a Greek amphora: Your child will learn about black-on-red amphorae, and will make one of his own by painting the enclosed terra-cotta pot with authentic Greek designs.

Play knucklebones - Your child will use clay to make a set of "bones," then learn how to play the game of knucklebones with them. (A word of warning - once Dad gets his hands on this game, he may not be willing to give it up.
